Please read the following terms and conditions carefully before engaging in any photography services provided by Stephen Johnson Photography. These terms and conditions govern the contractual relationship between Stephen Johnson Photography and the client (“Client”) in relation to the photography services rendered. By booking our services, the Client acknowledges and agrees to be bound by these terms and conditions.

1. Services Provided: a. Stephen Johnson Photography offers professional photography services specialising in weddings, portraits, portfolios, corporate events, and parties. b. The specific services, including the duration, number of images, and any additional features or products, will be discussed and agreed upon between Stephen Johnson Photography and the Client.
2. Booking and Payments: a. A non-refundable deposit is required to secure the booking for any photography service. The deposit amount and payment schedule will be communicated to the Client during the booking process. b. Full payment for the services rendered must be made by the Client before or on the day of the photography session or event, unless agreed otherwise in writing. c. Stephen Johnson Photography reserves the right to retain all images and products until full payment has been received.
3. Cancellation and Rescheduling: a. In the event of cancellation by the Client, the non-refundable deposit will be forfeited. b. If the Client wishes to reschedule the photography session or event, Stephen Johnson Photography will make reasonable efforts to accommodate the request, subject to availability.
4. Copyright and Usage: a. The copyright of all images captured by Stephen Johnson Photography remains with the photographer. b. Stephen Johnson Photography grants the Client a non-exclusive license to use the images for personal, non-commercial purposes, including printing, sharing on social media, and displaying on personal websites. c. The Client is not permitted to sell or commercially exploit the images without the written consent of Stephen Johnson Photography. d. Stephen Johnson Photography reserves the right to use the images for promotional purposes, including but not limited to advertising, website content, portfolio, and social media. The Client’s privacy will be respected, and sensitive images will not be used without explicit consent.
5. Image Delivery and Editing: a. Stephen Johnson Photography will provide the Client with a selection of edited high-resolution digital images, delivered in a format and method agreed upon. b. The turnaround time for image delivery will be communicated to the Client and may vary depending on the scope of the project. c. Stephen Johnson Photography retains full creative control over the editing process, including colour correction, cropping, and retouching, to ensure the highest quality standards. d. RAW images will NOT be provided to the Client unless explicitly agreed upon in writing at the time of booking and subject to additional fees.
6. Client Cooperation: a. The Client agrees to provide Stephen Johnson Photography with necessary cooperation, including but not limited to providing detailed shot lists, designating an event coordinator (if applicable), and ensuring the availability of subjects or locations. b. Stephen Johnson Photography will not be held responsible for compromised image quality due to insufficient cooperation or restrictions placed by event officials, venues, or other circumstances beyond the photographer’s control.
7. Limitation of Liability: a. Stephen Johnson Photography will take reasonable care to provide satisfactory services but will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. b. In the unlikely event of severe personal injury or illness, equipment failure, or other unforeseen circumstances that prevent Stephen Johnson Photography from fulfilling their obligations, liability will be limited to the return of fees paid up to the date of the notification.
